How Does Nutrition Coaching Work?

Nutrition coaching can take place either in person or online via Zoom. During your initial consultation, you’ll have plenty of time to talk and discuss your concerns. The role of a coach is to listen to you and understand your situation, so that together you can come up with a plan to achieve your goal, whether that’s becoming less restrictive around food, handling mid-life weight gain or completing your first ultra marathon.

Although I can’t do the hard work for you, as your coach I will give you the tools to feel confident and empowered in your decisions.

What Will My Coaching Sessions Look Like?

Coaching works best when you’re consistent and accountable. During your initial 60-minute consultation, you’ll be heard and understood, and leave with an understanding of what you can do right now to make simple but effective changes that’ll have a direct impact on your wellbeing.

Before your consultation, you’ll fill in a three-day diet diary, which I’ll analyse to show your current nutritional intake and whether your diet’s lacking anything critical. Over the next four weeks we’ll schedule regular 15–30 minute check-ins, to discuss what’s working and whether any course corrections are required. For quick queries and support, I’m available on WhatsApp and email if required.

I’m also able to create meal plans considering your personal preferences and dietary needs, but the goal with coaching is to become confident in your own choices and able to plan your own great tasting, nourishing foods.

After a month, you’ll have an in-depth 30–60-minute follow-up appointment to check your progress.

Nutrition coaching is £145 a month, which includes your initial consultation, weekly check-ins and interim support as needed, with a three-month initial commitment.

I also offer one-off Baby-led weaning consultations and am available for talks with sports teams and gyms. Please get in touch if this is something that you’d like to explore.

Who Hannah Works With

Pre/Menopausal Women
Navigating the pre/menopausal years can feel overwhelming, I get it! Night sweats, brain fog and feeling like you’re walking through treacle are sadly familiar, and I’ve experienced the physical changes that seems to come from nowhere. We’re not broken though, and armed with tailored support it’s possible to change and thrive. Whether you want to stay active or get moving again, I offer tailored support to help you manage these years with confidence, clarity, and energy.

Everyday and Aspiring Athletes
Whether you’re lacing up for your first Couch to 5K, lifting heavy in the gym, running ultramarathons, or playing weekend five-a-side, I love to help athletes fuel smarter, recover better, and perform at their best. Sports nutrition has been an enduring love of mine since my days in the University rowing squad.

Parents and Families
If you’re looking for guidance on weaning your baby or encouraging healthy eating habits in your kids, I’d be happy to talk with you about current weaning guidelines and practical ways of implementing them to give your baby the best start in their relationship with solids. My goal is always to minimise stress for both you and them, while introducing infants and children to an exciting new world of tastes and textures.
